On Friday, March 12, 2010, the ISSH cafeteria and gymnasium was converted to a Country & Western look from the chuck wagon where dinner was served to the saloon bar for your drinks.

We had some great prizes lined up thanks to donations made by our ISSH families and the Tokyo business community. Our Grand Prize on the night was 2 roundtrip tickets to Bangkok donated by Thai Airways and a 2 night stay in a deluxe room at The Westin Grande Sukhumvit, Bangkok.

Other prizes included accommodation stays in and around Tokyo, restaurant vouchers, electronics, jewelry, accessories and much, much more.

There were also the themed baskets sold on auction. The parents of grades K4 through 7 worked hard on some wonderfully creative baskets including party baskets, Mother & Daughter packages, personal fitness and beauty, Japanese Tea Boxes, accommodation & shopping packages, Art gift certificates, Swallows baseball packages and more. Bidding was competitive with all proceeds from the night benefiting the Sister Culhane scholarship fund for deserving ISSH students.

We had an outstanding event with a large and enthusiastic crowd of over 600 people. A successful amount of money was raised this year for our Scholarship program largely due to the very generous donations we received from sponsors within the Tokyo business community and our very own ISSH Parents. We would like everyone to know how much we appreciated their support and how much it means to our Scholarship recipients and to our school.
