Student Health Office

The Student Health Office is a welcoming space for students who don't feel well or who sustained an injury during the school day. The home to our Student Health Officer, the office is stocked with first-aid items and basic medication to treat regular day-to-day health problems that students may encounter.

The Student Health Officer plays a multi-faceted role in promoting the health and well-being of the wider school community. She assesses and provides direct care for illnesses and injuries, and coordinates care for students with special health needs. She also refers families to local medical and health-related services when necessary, and, as a bilingual licensed nurse, serves as the major point of contact in case of any medical emergency. Additionally, the Student Health Officer is licensed by the Shibuya Fire Department to teach first aid and CPR, and holds sessions for faculty, staff, and parents.
