Tuition & Fees

Tuition and all school fees must be paid in advance by the due date indicated in the invoice. When payment is not possible by the due date, parents should notify the Business Manager, in writing, stating the promissory date of payment and get approval from the school.

For students enrolled after the school year begins, tuition is calculated based upon academic quarters. Attendance for any portion of a quarter necessitates payment for the entire quarter.

Payment is to be made in Japanese yen only and can be paid by bank transfer. The bank receipt will serve as the official receipt for the payment unless otherwise requested. The payer is responsible for paying any bank processing charges incurred. This amount is to be paid in addition to the amount of the school tuition and fees.

In the case of serious financial delinquency, class attendance, participation in school performances, and/or release of grades, transcripts or other records of attendance will be prohibited.

Should a student need to be withdrawn from ISSH because a parent's job change takes the family away from Japan, a medical diagnosis or other life-altering circumstance requires the family to leave Japan, please contact the Accountant for the refund policy.
