One World Day 2026

One World Day is one of the highlights of the ISSH year, and this year's event was no exception! The day was a bustle of activity, starting with the Kindergarten and Junior School parade, which brought a smile to the faces of all as our youngest learners displayed their national costumes with pride. The afternoon performances were breathtaking and awe-inspiring, from Chinese face-changing dance to French ballet to K-pop. And of course, the highlight of the festivities was the parade of nations, in which students from each nationality represented in our community taught us how to say the word "joy" in their home languages. 

The day could not have been such a success without the tireless efforts of the HS World Council, Ms Holly Sin and Mr Mark Felstehausen! Our hearts are filled with gratitude to the SPARX team, our own student event production and film team, whose dedication and expertise ensured a flawless event. Thanks to them, the performers in the Acts and the Parade of Nations participants could dazzle us with their songs, dances and costumes. What a true celebration of joy for our Sacred Heart community.
