Senior Minami featured on Stanford University Blog

After participating in the Standford e-Entrepreneurship Japan programme in Fall 2025, ISSH rising senior Minami was selected to share her experiences on the Stanford University Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies blog. 

In the article, Minami reflects on her time in the programme and the experiences that were most meaningful to her. Opportunities to learn from successful business owners tackling global issues really stuck with her. "Some of the most powerful experiences in the program were our sessions interacting with guest speakers, successful social entrepreneurs," she shares in the article. "These entrepreneurs were truly visionaries with a strong sense of social responsibility, aiming to drive change for a better world. They shared their inspirational stories in building businesses to tackle serious societal problems."

It was inspiring to read about how Minami—a member of ISSH's DECA x Young Entrepreneurs Club—embodied Goal 3 while pursuing her interest in entrepreneurship, taking advantages of unique opportunities to learn directly from experts (and demonstrating Goals 2 and 5, as well, while she was at it!)
