Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday has become a global generosity movement that is similar to Black Friday and Cyber Monday—but focused on giving, not buying! In 2026, Giving Tuesday falls on 1 December.

As an international school, we celebrate Giving Tuesday throughout the entire period around the world, from 12 am in the South Pacific to 11:59 pm in Alaska. 

Giving Tuesday supports our Annual Fund, which means that all donations made on Giving Tuesday will help Sacred Heart go above and beyond as we live our mission. Your gift helps Sacred Heart to be robust in helping our girls and young women grow into global leaders with courage and confidence. 

Anyone in the Sacred Heart community can participate! Whether you’re a parent, an alum, a faculty or staff member, a past parent, or a friend, you can support ISSH! 

You are welcome to give again to support our Giving Tuesday efforts, but please do not feel pressured to make a second gift if you have already given once this year. All gifts given during the current fiscal year (1 April – 31 March) count towards the current Annual Fund and will be acknowledged as such. 

There is no minimum donation—every gift counts! Please make a gift of an amount that is meaningful to you. All gifts made to ISSH are tax deductible either in Japan or in the United States, depending on the method of donation—please see our Ways to Give page for more information. The minimum donation for a tax receipt in Japan is ¥2,000; the minimum to give through our US giving partner, every.org, is $10.
