In the band room we have a full 32 track digital recording studio. We use
Instruments include: Rolan TD9 V drum kit, Rolan and Kog keyboards, guitars, bass, Rolans Octapad percussion set and a full PA system.
The bands have a duplicate mixer, PA and large amplification system for outdoor and large indoor performances.
The dining room is available to the Junior, Middle and High School students. Cezars Kitchen provides morning snacks, afternoon snacks and hot lunch. The large MS/HS Music Room, with multiple-use floor area, which can facilitate large choral and orchestral rehearsals as well as choreography rehearsals. There is a grand piano, plus many electronic keyboards, a large orchestral percussion battery, guitars, and several computers. The music library (in the Music Room) houses many choral, instrumental, and solo repertoire folios and books.
The students share the main playground which provides age-appropriate equipment for the JS and MS students, as well as a meeting and sporting area for the older students. We have an enclosed playground for the Kindergarten and younger Junior School students to play in that is fully equipped with Bornelund play equipment.
We work with two glass and pottery kilns and offer over 100 glazes. We cast metals and work with clay, metals, glass and other materials.
Our studio holds 25 pottery wheels and ample work surfaces for large sculptural work. We have an open space where we can construct large sculptural pieces and a garden gas kiln for raku firing.
The Junior School provides science in the classroom through implementation of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC). We have four laboratories designed for Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Middle School Science. Students use Vernier data-logging equipment in Grades 8-12. State of the art 3D Educational technology and software is used in classes to further enhance the learning experience.
